Original Poetry: Flash Fire

Some say Love begins with a glance -
And perhaps it does.
But the power of a single look -
The spark passing between two souls' eyes -
At times does not reveal itself.

The spark is ignited,
But barely flares -
Biding its time, lying in wait
Until the right moment to
Blaze and conquer.

An accidental brush of hands -
A flicker.
An innocent yet lingering embrace -
A brighter eruption, a warmth
Tangibly sensed in the chest.

A question - a shock - a resolute "yes",
And its time has come -
No longer contained, a shimmering wildfire,
Triumphant at last as it envelops
Two hearts in a torrid embrace.
